Protection Beyond Your Boat
Offers protection and indemnity up to $10 Million, which means that in addition to paying for damage you may cause to other boats and properties, it provides coverage for legal costs, wreck removal, salvage fees, and pollution damage caused by the boat.
Coastal Waters Coverage
If you operate your boat along the coast, this add-on ensures you're covered in tidal or saltwater areas—within specific navigational limits. Coverage applies while operating in Canada or the continental U.S., within a 1,500-mile radius of your listed address. It includes:
• BC's coastal waters, up to 200 miles offshore, but not north of Skagway, Alaska (60° N) or south of Westport, Washington (47° N)
• Eastern Canada's coastal waters, up to 200 miles offshore, but not north of Henley Harbour, Labrador (52° N) or south of Gloucester, Massachusetts (42.5° N)
Comprehensive All-Risks Coverage
Our boat insurance policies offer robust, all-risks protection for your vessel, including hull and machinery coverage, personal effects (on a replacement cost basis), and even newly acquired boats. We offer agreed value protection, meaning the amount is determined at the start of your policy and paid in full if there's a total loss. You'll also benefit from no sub-limits on activities like wakeboarding, water skiing, or tubing, and coverage for sudden & accidental pollution without restrictive caps. Additional expenses—such as rental costs, emergency towing, extra expenses, and fire department charges—are also included to give you full peace of mind on the water.
